A few days ago Brittany Murphy Who I Remember from clueless as Tai, Luanne from king of the hill and Sin City died of an apparent heart attack shocking everyone. Since her death a few sources are claiming it was an overdose and like any good husband/ partner he is defending his late wife. It actually makes me quite sick that media is all over this man his wife has just died and they won't even give the man time to grieve.

"I'm confident it wasn't an overdose," he told The News. "She was not a drug addict."
He confirmed Tuesday that investigators found and took away a bevy of prescriptions - " but nothing else" - and slammed speculation that the 32-year-old beauty was abusing illegal drugs. "There's no question that's rubbish," said Monjack, a British photographer and screenwriter who married the "Clueless" star in 2007.

"The attacks on me, the attacks on my wife and suggestions that she was anorexic and drug addicted, it's like, look at the (recent) photographs," he said.
"Look at that smile. That's not the smile of an anorexic or drug addict or someone in a bad marriage. That's someone who was content with her life." .



The world is full of people who thrive on the misfortunes of others but the only part of society that thrives on it is the media/entertainment industry. We live in a time where everyone knows everything about everybody. We know about Tiger's indiscretions and we've seen Jon (from Jon and Kate Plus 8) fall from grace and have almost every second of it documented for our viewing pleasure. I am not sure what this says about us as a whole but it is really making me rethink my part in the world of media.
